What is this event?

A unique 3-night, 4-day Cold Water Immersion Retreat at the beautiful Riversong in the mountains of São Pedro do Sul between Porto and Viseu. 

With only 8 spaces available, this will be an intimate gathering focused on courage, presence, and reconnecting with nature.

Together, we will explore the transformative practices of cold water swimming, breathwork, and community living. If you haven't visited this area before, get involved. The natural landscapes are epic.

How will the days be?

We will rise with the sun and break our fast with a refreshing cold river dip. Through Wim Hof-style breathing techniques (or not), we will prepare the body and mind to embrace the cold, build resilience, and discover what lies beyond our comfort zone.

After our morning immersion, we’ll enjoy a nourishing breakfast together. If you wish, we will spend time in the garden and explore permaculture techniques.

Afternoon

The afternoons are for rest, exploration, and adventure. We’ll visit local gems such as Poço Azul (https://www.allaboutportugal.pt/en/sao-pedro-do-sul/natural-resources/poco-azul), where you can soak up the sunshine, swim in crystal-clear mountain waters, and experience the magic of Portugal’s wild nature.

Evening

As evening falls, a delicious meal will be prepared for us to share together.

We will gather around a small (legal) campfire beneath the stars, and share songs, stories, and music with guitars.

Special Event

On Thursday evening, we’ll also join a local music jam session. Bring your voice, your drums, your instruments, or simply your presence. This is a space for expression, joy, and freedom. Donations to the local hosts are encouraged.
