🐉 Rebuilding After the Fire

In August 2025, Juicyland suffered a devastating fire that destroyed its central structure — the Dragon House — and scorched much of the surrounding land. Now, the community is rising from the ashes, one humble act at a time.

This is an invitation to help rebuild something sacred — not just structures, but connection, vitality, and purpose.

✋ Volunteer Roles Needed

We welcome Growers with experience, dedication, and deep presence. Current opportunities include:

1️⃣ 🪚 Carpenter

Help craft structures from wood and reclaimed materials.
Tasks: Framing, furniture-making, doors, tool shelters, artistic woodwork.

2️⃣ 🌱 Gardener

Bring the land back to life.
Tasks: Soil care, composting, seed planting, medicinal herbs, water-wise beds.

3️⃣ 🔥 Land Cleaner

Clear fire debris and make space for new growth.
Tasks: Removing ash, salvaging materials, trail reopening, erosion prevention.

4️⃣ 🌳 Forest Planter

Restore the forest and build ecological resilience.
Tasks: Native tree planting, water retention swales, companion planting, tending young saplings.

5️⃣ ⚡ Energy Creator

Support the off-grid energy systems that power the village.
Tasks: Solar setup, battery maintenance, creative solutions for low-impact tech.

6️⃣ 🛖 House Builder

Join the re-creation of the Dragon House and other structures.
Tasks: Cob building, stonework, insulation, roofing, natural paints and plasters.
