1. Who we are

Grow (growers.me) is a platform connecting people with regenerative communities through events, stays and volunteering. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@growers.me.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: email, username, profile photo, bio, location and interests you choose to share.
  • Booking data: the events and stays you book, volunteer applications, and messages you exchange with hosts.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers; we receive only confirmation of payment and the amount.
  • Usage data: pages visited and product actions (via PostHog analytics), used to improve the product. Subject to your cookie consent.

3. How we use it

To operate your account and bookings, to connect you with hosts, to send transactional emails (confirmations, application updates), to keep the platform safe, and to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your data.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers that run the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Postmark (email), PostHog (analytics) and our hosting provider. Hosts see the profile information and messages you share with them when you book or apply. We share data with authorities only when legally required.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies for sign-in sessions (essential) and, with your consent, analytics cookies that help us understand product usage. You can decline analytics in the cookie banner; essential cookies are required for the site to function.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal data. Update your profile in the app, or email support@growers.me to request export or deletion of your account. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Data retention & security

We keep account data while your account is active and booking records as required for accounting. Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Changes

We will update this policy as the product evolves and note the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
