Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if greater) to use the Platform. By signing up, you represent and warrant that you:
- Meet the age and legal eligibility requirements;
- Provide accurate and complete information;
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and these Terms.
2. Account Registration and Responsibilities
To access certain features of the Platform, including booking events or stays, applying to volunteer, or creating events, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide truthful and complete information;
- Keep your password secure and confidential;
- Notify Grow immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You are fully responsible for all activity under your account.
3. License to Use
Grow grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for your personal or community-building use. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code;
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
4. Community and Content Standards
All users must adhere to the Grow community values. You agree not to:
- Post or promote harmful, offensive, or illegal content;
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
- Use the platform for fraud or deception.
Grow reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.
5. Payments, Fees & Commission Structure
5.1 Sales Commission
Grow applies a flat 15% commission to ticket and booking sales made through the Platform.
This fee is deducted automatically before earnings are distributed to hosts and organizers. Buyers pay no added fees: the price you see is what you pay.
5.2 Platform Fees
We do not currently charge Growers or Communities to use the Platform. However, we may introduce a Grow Premium tier in the future, providing:
- Access to exclusive content and events
- Unique digital badges
- Advanced review features
- Job-matching and opportunity listings
Use of Grow Premium will be optional and clearly communicated in advance.
5.3 Payouts to Communities
Grow is currently developing an integrated payments system for real-time payouts. Until then:
- Communities will receive a monthly transfer of any earned funds;
- Organizers must submit valid banking details to receive payouts;
- Grow is not responsible for delays due to incorrect or missing payment details.
6. Purchases & Refund Policy
6.1 Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a booking up to the cancellation deadline set by the host. When you cancel within that window, Grow refunds the amount you paid, less the payment processing fee charged by our payment provider and the card networks. That fee is taken at the time of payment and is not returned to Grow when a refund is issued, so it cannot be refunded to you. Grow does not retain its own commission on a cancelled booking.
6.2 Cancellation Window
Each host sets the notice required to cancel their event or stay. Regardless of the host's setting, cancellations are not permitted within fourteen (14) days of the event. Once a booking is inside this period, it can no longer be cancelled or refunded.
6.3 Changes or Cancellations by Hosts
Hosts are solely responsible for delivering their events and stays. If a host cancels or significantly changes an experience, you are entitled to a full refund, including the payment processing fee, even within the fourteen (14) day period. Other disputes regarding the experience or rescheduling should be addressed directly with the host.
6.4 Chargebacks
Users who initiate chargebacks for valid purchases may be suspended or banned from the platform.
7. Third-Party Services
The Platform may include links or integrations to third-party websites or services. Grow does not control or endorse these services and assumes no liability for your use of them.
8. Data and Privacy
Grow collects and processes user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to:
- The collection of necessary data for discovery, registration, booking, and payment;
- Secure data handling and encryption standards;
- Communication from Grow about events, updates, or opportunities.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
9. Termination
Grow may suspend or terminate your account:
- For violating these Terms;
- For misuse of the Platform or fraudulent behavior;
- For inactivity or at its sole discretion.
Upon termination, your license to use the Platform ends immediately. Data and funds may be retained or withheld in accordance with applicable laws.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. Grow disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose;
- Reliability or availability of the platform;
- Accuracy of information or performance.
11. Limitation of Liability
Grow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Platform;
- Your interactions with other users;
- Event cancellations, fraud, or disputes.
In all cases, Grow's total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you via the Platform in the preceding 12 months.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
Disputes shall first be attempted to resolve informally. If unresolved, they may be settled by:
- Binding arbitration, or
- The courts of the governing jurisdiction (as permitted by law).
13. Changes to These Terms
Grow may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
